Children's Service

About Us

Aspire Disability Support Services  have been supporting children and young people with disabilities for more than 15 years. We now support Adults up to the age of 55 years. We support individuals with a variety of disabilities and additional needs from mild needs to severe/complex needs.

Our service is a project run by the Voluntary and Community Services Peaks and Dales and our office is based in Buxton, Derbyshire.

We cover support in the High Peak, Derbyshire Dales and Chesterfield area primarily and we also have a service in Tameside. We can provide support in other areas depending on funding.

Our Values

Caring - Consideration, compassion, respect and kindness through every aspect of our service.

Adaptable - Always improving our service for the best quality of care to give the best quality of life.

Responsible - Every member of our team has been picked to reflect our values and understands they are Aspire.

Empowering - Equipping all our staff to be the best they can and leading from the front to inspire and encourage.

Safe - We think organization and efficiency is key to protecting our staff and service users.

Referral Process

We operate an open referral system, which means that anyone involved with a child/young person (including parents) can refer to this

service. Once a referral is received, a home visit will be made by one of the Aspire Team, this is a chance to meet the family and a care plan  covering all of the child/young person’s needs will be written.

We aim to provide a service to families within four weeks of the initial referral. We ensure that you get up to date information on opportunities in your local area so that families and service users can choose what you want to do.

We can provide care and support to families and service users 24/7 and provide support out in the community, within Day Centres and the home environment.
