Carers required to provide a high standard of support

and personal care to older people

in their own homes

in the Buxton, Chapel, New Mills area

Will include evening and weekend work on a rota basis

Experience in care preferred but not essential

Must be reliable and dedicated to providing care and support whilst promoting independence and enabling people to remain in their own homes

Own transport essential


In return we offer:

A minimum of 16 hours per week post

Full induction training programme with ongoing support

An opportunity to complete NVQ/QFC L2

Pay 8.20/8.45 per hour

Part time, flexible working 7.32 per hour

Experienced cleaners are required to
clean for older people in their own homes.
Hours depending upon the needs of the
client, and your availability. Training
will be provided. We are looking for a
caring and honest, self starter with excellent
customer service skills.

Life Skills Mentor based in Glossop

(25 hours per week, 22,658 pro rata)

Volunteer Centre Glossop are recruiting for an exciting new initiative to support people in the local area who are furthest from the job market.

 

VCG works to address unmet social or economic needs within the community, and establish projects that actively improve the quality of life for local people. We are looking for an energetic and motivated member of staff who is passionate about helping people identify and achieve their personal goals and aspirations. The project will target people who are long term unemployed, with a specific focus on the needs of people with low level mental health needs and those with a learning disability.

 

Can You?........

 

  Engage, motivate and enable people to develop life skills that help to build confidence, achieve personal aspirations, and ultimately lead to paid employment

  Development a programme of motivation and mentoring, with a specific focus on the needs of people with mental health issues and learning disabilities

  Train and support a team of peer mentors

  Work with a range of partner organisations to signpost people to relevant support services and mainstream pre employment or training opportunities

Crossroads Derbyshire provides domestic abuse services to adults, children and young people.

 

We are recruiting for the following positions for the ABC Project. - Abusive Behavioural Change perpetrator programme (formerly SAM Perpetrator Programme)

 

Group Facilitator 21 hours per week including evenings; 18,459 pa (pro rata)

  • to cover High Peak with travel to Chesterfield.

 

Safety Worker 14 hours per week;   18,459 pa (pro rata)

  • supporting (ex) partners in the High Peak area.

 

Both posts are open to women only

(Exempt under the Equality Act 2010, pursuant to schedule 9 part 1)

 

You will need;

  • A good understanding of the nature of domestic violence and abuse
  • An understanding of the effects of domestic violence and abuse on partners and their children
  • Ability to work  flexibly at different times of the day, including evenings
  • A full driving licence and access to your own transport.

 

You will implement the project aims and objectives of working with perpetrators who are violent and abusive to their (ex) partners, supporting them to change their offending behaviour and keep partners and their children safe. With a base in Glossop, the project will deliver group work each week across the High Peak and Chesterfield and provide support and safety planning to their (ex) partners.

 

Full training will be given.

 

The post is funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund until September 30, 2019.
