Revised hours -Marketing Officer (Buxton)

16 hrs/wk @ 23,935 FTE = 10,350 pa

Are you an experienced marketing professional looking for a challenge? Would you like to use your experience for social causes?

 

This is a new role to help us develop and expand our marketing activities.You will work with the Business Development Manager to produce a Marketing Plan incorporating market research to support our activities and grant bids, and develop and manage a new, forward-looking brand identity.You will also be responsible for generating media coverage, and will work alongside the Community and Events Fundraiser to provide marketing expertise for fundraising events.

We are looking for someone with relevant experience in a marketing role, preferably within the charity sector. A recognised qualification in marketing activities would be a plus. You should be able to communicate confidently with a range of people, including co-workers, volunteers, the media, visitors and corporate staff.

Due to the nature of the job, you should be prepared to work occasional unsocial hours as required.A reasonable amount of travel will be required; therefore you must have a full driving licence and use of a car.

Community and Events Fundraiser
(Buxton)

22 hrs/wk @23,935 FTE = 14,555 pa

Do you enjoy the challenge of organising events for large groups of people?Can you mobilise the community to get behind a good cause?

This is a new role to help us develop our fundraising activities.The Community and Events Fundraiser will work alongside the Marketing Officer and will have the responsibility for proactively developing fundraising through a range of imaginative events.You will also be responsible for recruiting, developing and supporting local community volunteers in their own fundraising efforts on our behalf.

We are looking for someone with good experience of professional event management, from local fetes to large sponsored runs or cycle rides, including knowledge of health and safety and insurance issues.You should be able to use your initiative to develop ideas and recruit volunteer helpers.You will need to be a confident communicator able to relate to a range of people, including colleagues, volunteers and corporate supporters.

In Ashbourne in the Derbyshire Dales
Part time, flexible working 7.32 per hour

Experienced cleaners are required to
clean for older people in their own homes.
Hours depending upon the needs of the
client, and your availability. Training
will be provided. We are looking for a
caring and honest, self starter with excellent
customer service skills.
